The restaurant area of St. John's offers it's guests splendid views of both Lough Swilly and Inch Island, and can cater for 80 guests at one sitting. Over the years the restaurant has been the recipient of numerous awards from Michelin, Ballygowan and Bord Failte and has also won several regional awards for its wine list which features an impressive array of classic wines from France, California, Chile, Australia, South Africa and New Zealand. The menu at St. John's varies according to season, specializing in fresh local fish and seafood, fresh locally produced meat and vegetables. The tables are covered in Irish linen with matching napkins and dressed with Irish-made bone china from galway or Arklow, cutlery from Newbridge and Tyrone crystal - the owners believing that their restaurant should be a showplace for the best of Irish manufactured goods wherever possible.
