Hi, my name is Brian and I'm going to tell you about my favourite television show. It is called the Simpsons. The main characters in the programme are Homer, who is the father, Marge the mother,Bart the son and Lisa and Maggie are the two daughters.

Homer always wears a white tee- shirt and a blue trousers. He only has two wisps of hair and he is fat. He works in the powerplant on a machine. His boss is Mr. Burns and his assistant is called Smithers. Homer goes for a drink to the pub called Moes. Every time he goes to the pub he meets his friend Barney. Barney is always in the pub as he is fond of the drink.

Marge wears a green skirt and has a red necklace. She has blue hair, which touches the ceiling. She does not go out to work, instead she stays at home to do the housework. Bart wares blue shorts and an orange tee-shirt. Bart is always getting into trouble at school but his friends love him for it. The school Principle is constantly giving out to Bart. He has a skateboard and is very good on it. His best friend is called Milhouse.

Lisa wares an orange skirt and a white necklace. Even though she is two years younger than Bart, she is still smarter than him. She plays the saxophone and is very good at it. Magie wares a blue skirt and always has a dummy in her mouth, because she is not able to talk. She is the youngest in her family.

Their next door neighbours are called Ned, Maud, Rod and Tod Flanders. The story line is about the general happenings of family life in the Simpson household with a few funny bits thrown in. Homer is a couch potato and is always choking Bart. Lisa and Bart are always fighting and end up getting grounded.

In my opinion it is an excellent show and continually gives me entertainment and a laugh every week.
