Local Involvement

Local Involvement has an important role to play at St. Vincent's G.N.S. Belvedere College has had an active involvement in our school, since September 2002.

Some sixth year students from Belvedere College visit our school every Tuesday morning to participate in peer-tutoring with some of our classes.

The sixth year students spend one hour with our pupils either developing their reading abilities during the 'shared reading' classes or increasing our pupils computer skills.

The Leaving certificate boys are also receiving training in 'shared maths' classes so that they will be able to help are pupils in this area.
