Congratulations to the pupils in the 6th Classes on the completion of the post primary school assessments. For those parents who wish to send their sons to Coláiste Choilm (CBS), a waiting list system is operated so it is essential to make application to the school as soon as possible. Sacrament of ReconciliationVery many congratulation to the pupils who received the Sacrament of Reconciliation recently. All their hard work reaped its reward. They are now preparing to receive their First Holy Communion at 11.00 a.m. on Saturday, 7 May 2005. Cross-CountryOur teams did very well recently in the Cross-Country events. There are 2 races left, and it would be much appreciated if some of our under 12 athletes could come out of retirement so that the school can retain the trophies for overall winners. SoccerThe soccer team will be commencing its campaign shortly. Its games will be against Pope John Paul II NS, St Oliver Plunkett NS, Rush NS, St Teresa’s NS and Donabate NS. Gaelic FootballOur team was promoted as a result of last year’s great victory. Its progress this year is anticipated eagerly. Volunteer DriversIf any parent is in an position to give lifts to games / cross-country, please contact Ms. L. Smith or Ms. C. Sweeney Infant EnrolmentThere are still some places left in the junior infant classes which will be commencing school on 30 August 2005. Please contact Mrs Mary Mc Gee to obtain an application form.
