Fund Raising

The Sponsored Jog was due to have been held on Friday, 11 October 2002, but it was postponed due to weather conditions.  It will be held as soon as the weather improves. The Reading Marathon was launched on Friday last. Even though the Jog has not been held yet, we are very grateful to the parents who have already made contributions to the school fund.

Warning with Regard to Bogus Collectors

The pupils in every class have been advised not to collect money from anybody other than their immediate family. We received three phone calls during the week with regard to people purporting to collect for our school. In situations such as this, our advice is not to give money, and to contact the Gardaí.

Uniforms and Tracksuits

We are very grateful to the members of the Parents’ Association who did such tremendous work in organising the uniforms and tracksuits. Would it be possible please to have the pupils’ names put on tracksuits and uniforms so that owners can be found for the various items of clothing which are picked up each day? Donations of uniforms and tracksuits are always appreciated.
