The jog was held on Friday, 5 October 2007. The need for money was never greater because of the expenditure incurred during the summer. As the newsletter goes to print, the amount collected is €11,200. We thank the families who have contributed and request that all families make a big effort to contribute to school funds this year. Raffle tickets are given out for each €10 collected, and the raffle will be held on Friday, 26 October 2007.

Transfer to Post-Primary Schools

Most of the pupils in our 6th Classes have now obtained places in post-primary schools for the school year, 2008-09. With regard to St Finian’s and Fingal Community Colleges, application should be made when the pupils are in 6th Class. Coláiste Choilm uses a booking system so it is important for parents to make application for their sons as soon as possible, irrespective of the class in which the boys are at present.
