Psychic Powers: The Ancestor Lord has the following psychic powers: Hammer of Fury and Slayer. The Hammer of Fury has the following profile.

Weapon Specialist: The presence of a Guildmaster Engineer allows the squad to re-roll one die in the shooting phase.



ELITES

Weapons: Bolt-gun.

Options: Any model may exchange their Bolt-gun for a Bolt pistol and an Axe for free.
The entire squad may be given Carapace armor (4+ save) for +3 points per model.
The entire squad may be given Exo-Armor (2+ save) for +23 points per model. This will replace all of the Squats other weapons and armor. Exo-Armor includes a Power Axe and Bolt pistol. Up to 2 models may upgrade the Power Axe to a Power Fist for +10 points.
Up to two models may be equipped with the following: Plasma cannon for +25 points, Auto-cannon for +15 points, or Heavy bolter for +15.
The entire squad may be given Frag Grenades for +1 point per model or Krak grenades for +2 points per model.

Character: The squad leader may be upgraded to a Champion for +14 points. The Champion may be given equipment from the Squat Armory.

Banner: The squad may be equipped with one of the banners available in the wargear section.

Transport: The entire squad may be mounted in a War Wagon for an additional cost of +40 points. The War Wagon can only transport 5 Hearthguard in Exo-armor.

Weapons: Axes and Squat Auto-pistols

Options: Any number of models may upgrade their Axe to a Power Axe for +8 points.

Leader: The squad leader may be upgraded to a Champion for an additional cost of +17 points. The Champion may be given addition equipment from the Squat armory. Please note that that a Slayer Champion will not wear any kind of armor.

Banner: The squad may be equipped with one of the banners available in the wargear section.

Transport: The entire squad may be mounted in a War Wagon for an additional cost of +40 points.

Special rules
Slayer:
Slayers are Squats whose entire purpose in life is to hunt down and kill monsters. The tougher the monster, the stronger they become. Slayers will wound their opponent on a 4 or better in close combat, regardless of the opponent’s toughness.

Fearless: Slayers fear nothing, and live only to fight. They never break and will pass any leadership test they may be required to take at any time, except for psychics that depend on the Slayer to pass a leadership test.

Honor: Due to some unspoken sin, these Squats have devoted their lives to fighting for Squats, until the day that they die. Their death wish because of this abominable, unknown crime has driven them to face their foes with no armor whatsoever, their only protection being their tough skin and massively wide (even by Squat standards) bodies.

Up to 2 models may be equipped with the one of the following weapons: Plasma cannon for +25 points, Auto-cannon for +15 points, Heavy bolter for +15 points, Melta-gun for +10 points, Plasma gun for +7 points, Flamer for +6 points, or a Bolt-gun for +2 points.
The entire squad may be given Carapace armor (4+ save) for +3 points per model.
The entire squad may be given Frag grenades at an additional cost of +1 point per model, Krak grenades for +2 points per model, or Melta-bombs for +5 points per model.

Character: The squad leader may be upgraded to a Champion for an additional cost of +12 points. The Champion may be given equipment from the Squat Armory.

Banner: The squad may be equipped with one of the banners available in the wargear section.

Transport: The entire squad may be mounted in a War Wagon for an additional cost of +40 points.



TROOPS

Warrior Squad

Attack Trikes: The squadron may include one Attack Trike for +45 points. The Trike is armed with an Auto-cannon and a linked Squat Auto-gun. The Auto-cannon may be upgraded to a Plasma Cannon for +20 points or a Heavy bolter for +10 points.

Special Rules
Weapon Specialists: Such is the skill of the Squat Engineers, that they may dead-eye nearly any target. The squad may re-roll one shot per firing phase.


Squat Battle Suit

Weapons: Dreadnought Power Axe (treated as Power Fist) on one arm. Auto-cannon on second arm. The Auto-cannon may be exchanged for the following: Plasma Cannon for +25 points, Heavy Flamer for +15 points, or Heavy bolter for free.

Special rules
Though the Battle-suit is classified as a Dreadnought, it is actually a massive suit of Exo-armor, specially modified for heavy combat duty on the Squat Home-world. The massive size of the armour gives it the advantages of a Dreadnought, but is treated as a normal model (hence the Troop profile instead of Vehicle profile). It may even fire its weapon while on the move. The Battle-suit doesn’t automatically strike last and uses its initiative instead.

Transport: The War Crawler may transport up to 5 Squat warriors, regardless of Exo-Armor or not.


Mole

Special Rules
Tunneler: The Squat mentality is one of strike hard and from their natural protection. The Mole has been constructed to take advantage of just that! In scenarios allowing for Deep Striking troops, the Mole may deep strike instead of deploying normally. Work this out as normal for a Deep Striking unit, except measure the scatter from the center of the Mole instead of using the Ordinance template.

Driller: The drill on the front of the Mole makes for a dangerous weapon. If the Mole is used to Tank Shock a unit, roll a D6 for every model that passes its Morale check and moves out of the way. On a 4+, the model suffers a wound from the spinning blades of the drill. The unit may make an armor save as normal.
