The Children's Sunshine Home supports children with life limiting conditions, and their families, by providing high quality transitional care, home support, respite, crisis and end-of-life care.  The LauraLynn Children's Hospice Foundation was set up in 2001 by Jane and Brendan McKenna after they tragically lost both of their daughters, Laura and Lynn, in the space of just two years.

The Children’s Sunshine Home Hospice Project and The Laura Lynn Foundation came together in 2006 to bring comfort and support to families around the country.  Ireland's first Children's Hospice - LauraLynn House - was officially opened by President Mary McAleese in September 2011.

Our event is a relay walk from Cheekpoint, Co. Waterford, along a coastal route to Youghal Bridge.  We will then head north through the Blackwater Valley to finish at Cappoquin.  Starting at 4pm, Friday 27th April 2012, this walk will be completed in 15 stages and will take approximately 24 hours.
