    Basic Rules for Pitch and Putt

Below is a list of some basic rules that should be followed when playing pitch and putt!
Most of the rules are basically common sense and make playing the game easier for everyone.

  1. You must have respect for the course.You must not damage the greens by hitting them with the clubs etc.
  2. Always try to repair the mark made by your ball when it hits the green.
  3. You should never play with more than three other players.
  4. When you see that you are delaying the play of those that are coming behind you, you should allow then to play through.
  5. Always give precedence to those playing in competitions.  If you yourself are not participating in the competition.
  6. If your opponent takes less shots than you to play a hole you should always  allow him/her to play at the next tee.
  1. Do not stand too close or behind anyone when they are playing their shot.
  2. When a person is playing their shot do not make any noise.
  3. When both players play their shot the one who's furthest away have to play their shot first.
  4. When you play your shot from the tee, do not move away from the tee until all the others playing with you have played their shots.
  5. When you think that their is any danger that you may strike another person on the ball you shouls shout "Fore".
  6. You must not play until the group playing in front of you has finished on the green.
