The Giraffe with a Red Tongue
One day a giraffe woke up on a beautiful morning in the grasslands of Africa. She thought the day was going fine until dinner when she walked up to an Acadia tree and ate a leaf. All the other giraffes went dead silent. They looked at her tongue. It was red! It was supposed to be black. She spat out the leaf. It was awful! Then she realised her tongue was made for meat! After a week she was dying of starvation. So she tried a blackberry. Little did she know it was a magic berry. She ate it and it dyed her tongue black. She could eat Acadia tree leaves again! In a flying saucer dwelt aliens one, The last one went to have some fun.

The Weird Day
There were two boys called James and Joshua. They had no school because it was a Bank Holiday and they were walking in the house when they suddenly spotted a new door. They were wondering what this new door was because it had two handles on it and was light brown where the other doors were dark brown. “Let’s go in!” said James. So the boys went in. James and Joshua saw dinosaurs, tall trees and long grass through the door. They were amazed! They were in a place where T Rex’s live. They heard the trees rustling. Joshua looked up towards the sky. James saw a dark shadow. It was a T Rex! It had very sharp teeth and big claws on his feet. James and Joshua got scared. They ran away to find the door. James fell. “Hurry up!” said Joshua. So James scrambled up and the boys found the door. “Have you got the key?” asked James. Joshua did have it and the boys burst through the door. It was dinner time in their home and the boys went off to have their dinner.

There were some elves and there were six, One tried to throw balls to do some tricks.
There were some elves and there were five, One got stung by a bee in a hive.
There were some elves and there were four , One fell on the floor and was poor.
There were some elves and there were three, One was runny and hit a flea.
There were some elves and there were two, One jumped up and flew away.
There were some elves and there was one. One hit a bun and there were none.

One night I had a dream. I went to a house and it had a broken door, a broken window and broken stairs. I went into the house and I heard a noise. I ran out of the house. It was coming nearer and nearer. I got scared and I ran home and I told Mum and Dad. They said "Don't be scared" and I went to bed. In the morning I went to the house. I went into the house. A man was locked into a cage. I didn't know who he was. I saw another man sleeping with an axe. He had more people locked up but I couldn't find the key so I took his axe and cut the cages up. He came after us. He went to his home in the wild and we didn't see him again.

Harry Potter
One day in Spring Harry was in his room. His cousin was very mean to him. Harry only got to watch whatever he wanted on television once every two months. One day an owl came to his window and gave him a letter but Uncle Vernon saw the letter and took it from him. The next day the same thing happened and his Uncle took the letter before Harry could read it. One Sunday everything started to shake. Letters came from the chimneys, windows and doors. Even the toilets - all for Harry. Harry caught a letter and read. It said...
"Dear Mr. Potter. You are invited to join our school of Witchcraft and Wizardry at Hogwarts."
That night a man called Hagrid came for Harry and took him to Hogwarts. In Hogwarts Harry heard about the Philosopher's Stone. He found the chamber it was in and it was guarded by a three-headed dog called Fluffy. Harry sneaked past Fluffy and saw a man trying to snatch the stone.
Harry shouted "STOP! You're the man who killed my parents. So you must be Voldemort." "And you're Harry Potter.".....

At the library, Joe was reading his book. He was not looking where he was going when suddenly he walked right through the library wall into a jungle. He was terrified and he tried to get out. Joe could see something in the trees and screamed with fright. As he walked on down the path trying to find a way to get out, an enormous dinosaur came out from behind the trees, stamping the ground. Joe tried to escape and tried to get back into the library. The dinosaur looked mad. Joe ran but it was no good. The dinosaur was coming after him. He was about to be grabbed when Joe saw a great big flash of light coming towards the jungle. He could see bright red and yellow flashes. It looked like a shooting star was on its way but when it came a little closer Joe saw it was a meteor. It came down and exploded. The power of the meteor threw Joe into the library again. All the dinosaurs died. They choked with dust and that’s why there are no dinosaurs anymore. By K.B. 3rd Class * Babies

The Fairies and Jack and Jill
Once there lived Jack and Jill. They went to follow the rainbow. They saw the golden coins and they took the pot of shiny golden coins to their house. The fairies were angry because they wanted their coins. They went flying to Jack and Jill’s house and the fairies did say “We want our coins!” Jack and Jill tricked the fairies. They gave them the coins and then they snapped them off them. They put the fairies into the fire and then the coins were magic. They flew up into the sky and turned to chocolate coins. Jack and Jill ate up the magic chocolate coins and they were sick and they were sad. They walked up to the doctor and the doctor pulled the chocolate out of their tummies and they gave them a lollipop and stickers as well.

Once upon a time there were little pigs three, They walked in the forest and they saw a key, They went to the pyramid and opened a castle door, They went to the castle and saw the pink floor.
The three little pigs they saw the wolf in the park, The wolf was sleeping in the dark, The castle door was open and the piggies went there, And I did eat the pear.
