SILK PAINTING ARTIST :  Maree O'Sullivan

I specialise in commissioned silk paintings/batik.  I have become proficient in various Design Techniques  including CAD, Calligraphy, Textile Art and Stain Glass.

Ultimately my studies have culminated in an Art Textiles course at the Crawford College of Art in Cork.

I am also a member of The Guild of Silk Painters http://www.silkpainters-guild.co.uk

I've been painting and teaching for the past few years. My creative side is always bubbling and I find colours exciting. To me, painting is therapeutic and relaxing yet stimulating.

Visions from Kenya:

The figures are silk painted incorporating a Batik background. Paintings can be designed and painted with colours to compliment the clients existing decor.

These paintings are just stretched over wooden frames which is safer and easier for delivery purposes, but can be easily framed if required.

I can create any of the paintings shown, similar or to clients personal requirements. Alternatively if you have a photo or nice gift card you would like painted . Scan the painting/photo in and attach it to an email flowerboutique@eircom.net   Upon receipt of the photo I shall reply to your request giving a quote excluding P&P in Irish Punts (Ire) and Euros.

When the piece is finished and ready for shipping . I shall email you the final full cost  i.e. original quote plus P&P. Please ring with Credit Card details.
