In 1829 John Judd married AURILLA STONE, most likely the sister ofGarry Stone, his brother-in-law. It was possibly a double wedding,since Garry & Azubah were married the same year. John JUDD lived inNY State c. 1831 & 1832 (census shows NY as birthplace of the 2 oldestchildren). Garry STONE & family (incl. Sarah HENDRIX JUDD, John'smother) went to NY in about 1833. John JUDD moved to Ohio before1840. They were found on the 1850 census in Plymouth town, Astabulaco., Ohio. John was a farmer. Children of John and Aurilla are:Charlotte (b. 1831), Byron (b. 1832), Emeline (b. 1833 - married by1850 - not in John's household), Ivah Jane (b. 1840), Mary Letitha (b.1842), Lelia Caroline (b. 1844).
In 1840 census, Conneaut town, Astabula co., OH the John JUDDhousehold had
1 male 30-40; 1 female 30-40;
1 male 5-10 (Byron); 1 female under 5 (Ivah J.); 2 females 5-10(Emeline & Charlotte);

[861] From one version of the Highland/Mitchell cem. list & notes taken atthe Schuyler Historical society...... David Stone & his family wereburied in the Mitchell/Highland cemetery in Montour Falls, NY, as wereGarry Stone & family. Thus it seems that David might be a youngerbrother of Garry Stone. The 1865 census for Catharine shows David(age 46) and Mary (age 44) with children Mary Jane (20) and Thomas(13). Cemetery info shows children George and David E. also in thisfamily.
