Winner Best Overall 2007
 Elizabeth O'Sullivan, daughter of the late Liam Collins, presents the Collins Rose Bowl to Noreen Driscoll (centre), who once again was declared "Best Overall" winner for her floral displays, with Aine O'Donovan, representing the sponsors Collins Brooks & Associates Solicitors, at the 2007 awards ceremony at the Quality Hotel, Clonakilty.
Winner Best Overall 2003
Bay View House has been declared "Best Overall" for its blooms and also won the Hotel and Guest House category in Clonakilty's 2003 Window Box Competition.
The presentation by sponsors, Collins Brooks & Associates, Solicitors, took place during a special evening hosted by De Barras Bar in conjunction with the judging of the town in the "Communities in Bloom" competition. In thanking the sponsors, Festival of West Cork Chairman, Mr. Denis Kingston, gave special mention to all who have beautified Clonakilty since the competition was inaugurated, significantly contributing to its national and international successes: "All areas of the town are a credit to the many who make the extra financial and personal effort". |
