		In our church we cater for three different groups of children and young people. On a Sunday morning after a time of worship the youngest children go out to crèche and those of National School age go into 2 Sunday School classes where they learn about the Bible at their own level. We also have a youth group for 11 year olds and over, fortnightly on Friday evenings at 8:00 pm. This group is called J2Y which stands for 'Jesus to You'. This is mainly for our own teenagers in the church but they also have a desire to reach out to their school friends. They have arranged a varied programme (see below).
			Photo: All ages are represented in our church family. 1st – 3^rd November 2002 – Weekend @ Drewstown House, Kells, Co. Meath. We had a great time! Ian and Alan spoke to us on our Relationship with God on Friday night and our Relationship with others on the Saturday morning. On the Saturday afternoon we went to Blanchardstown Shopping Centre and Quazer Lazer, and we played football and basketball in the Sports Hall on the Saturday night. We finished on Sunday morning at 10:00am to go back to Cavan for church time at 11:00am. Project: The J2Y Youth Group were allowed to decorate the Youth Room upstairs in the new premises ourselves. We worked to a Budget of €600. The adjoining room was turned into a Coffee Bar. We installed a small kitchen sink unit & the necessary Coffee Maker. The Colour Scheme we chose was Tir na nog and Cream, and we put down a green carpet on the floor. Someone kindly donated a sofa for us to sit on, so that’s 3 people taken care of :) But we could do with a few more for the rest of us? :(
