Anti-Bulling.

The anti-bullying policy is based on the premise that a well disciplined and organised school will minimise the occurrence of bullying.  We have a clear policy on the promotion of good citizenship, based on rights and responsibilities of pupils, teachers and parents.  It is made very clear that bullying  is a form of anti-social behaviour and will not be tolerated.
In Scoil Nioclas Naofa we tell a victim to tell and keep telling. The child will get support from the teacher. Parents will be kept fully informed.
As a parents, we ask you to take an active role in your child' education.  You are told to inform the class teacher immediately if you suspect that a child is being bullied.

The Board of Management and Staff recognize that the bully may also be a victim and in need of help. Every effort will be made to help the child recognise that bullying is anti-social.  Help will be sought for the child, if parents consent.
