The staff  encourages  parents  to  take  an  active  part  in  homework. Parents  can  check  homework  notebooks, ask  tables  and  spellings, talk  about  interesting  topics  and  read  with  the  child. If  homework  cannot  be  done, a  note  to  the  teacher  would  be  appreciated. This  may  lead  to  a  modification  in  the  amount  or  type  of  homework  being  given.

Children  should  carry  home  only  the  books  needed  for  the  night. Shelves  are  provided  so  as  the  children  will  not  have  to  carry  heavy  school bags.
