Hello my name is Edward and I am from Letterkenny, Co Donegal, Ireland, originally Cape Town, South Africa. My wife's name is Petro and we have a 4 year old son, Henry - the official centre of our universe.

As we relocated to Ireland in March 2001 and we have so many friends and family all over the world, I thought it might a good idea to put a website together. Nothing fancy, mostly pictures and our interests/hobbies.

I am still learning this whole web designing thing - a big shift for a mainframe programmer like me, so bear with me.

Donegal is as north as Northern Ireland - we are the only county of the republic west of Northern Ireland. We live about 35 miles away from Derry (Londonderry), the scene of "Bloody Sunday". Ireland is an absolutely beautiful country, but just as my equally beautiful homeland South Africa, its seen its fair share of violence. One can only hope for the best. I've traced my family lines (Keown) down to county Antrim/North Belfast. Not 100 % sure yet, but I'll get there...
