My name is Declan King. I choose this book because it has a strange name. My favourite characters were the slippers Right and Left because they could make funny noises.

The story is about Michelle Tiggy and the slippers. Tiggy doesn’t believe that Michelle’s slippers can talk. She got them from her Aunt in Canada for her birthday. Tiggy is a boy who has red curly hair and freckles. He is always pulling her hair and teasing her. The slippers only talk to people that are sick.

One day in school the teacher Miss Morrision was asking questions and the slippers answered them all. Tiggy grabbed the slippers and ran out the door with them. That’s when the fun begins. If you want to know what happens next you will have to read the book yourself.
