In most schools there are pupils who have little or no interest in sport..
To cater for these boys, there is a Collectors Club in the school run by
Mr. O’ Neachtain. The club is made up of two groups namely the

“ The Seasiders Stamp Club” and

        "The Seasiders Callcard Club".

The groups meet on a monthly basis after school on the school premises to swap stamps/callcards and discuss current issues and work on projects. The "Seasiders Stamp Club" was formed twelve years ago and caters for boys from third class up to sixth class. Most of the members are in the Voyager Club run for junior philatelists by an Post. This unit was set up by An Post to encourage young people to take up this fascinating and enjoyable hobby.
