This card is about the World War II. This is a Jersey Callcard. There is a passport in the picture. There is a family having there their tea.The Germans were in Jersey during World  War  11. Jersey is an island near France ,but it belongs to England.It is one of the Channel Islands. The capital is St Helier.During the war people had to be very careful and always carry ID papers and at night the had to turn off the lights early.I got this card from my teacher. He got it from his son, who spent the summer there working.There is a set of four cards showing how life was like on the island during World War 2.The Germans never came to Ireland.
