East Front 2 Miscellaneous

East Front II V 1.00b Display

By Loannis Kalafatis

This is an MS 'Access 97' database of EF II v1.00b. It draws on all the information available in the new spreadsheet (above) but actually allows the user to filter by date, country, side and unit class. It also shows both the 3D unit picture and the photograph. Check out the MAUS!!! A must have!
(Notes: This file can be loaded in any directory, it works best if the EF cd is in the cd rom drive - to show the photographs - and if it can't find any data it is likely that your registry points to the wrong directory).

East Front II Scenario Data Spreadsheet

By Bill Burch

EF/WF Scenario Designer and Play tester Bill Burch has updated this key resource to include EF II data. It also now incorporates data spun off by the "Briefing Sheets" program such as ground conditions, scenario description and type of battle. This is a VERY useful tool for choosing scenarios to play.

East Front II Briefing Sheets

This zip file contains 'briefing sheets' (one for each side) for every EF 2 scenario. A briefing sheet consists of one page of 'conditions' (eg scenario description, visibility, supply level, scenario length, etc), one section of the friendly OOB (only units actually appearing in the scenario, not the entire *.org file), one section of friendly forces and capabilities (eg which and how many of each platoon type, basic combat data for those platoons, etc) and one section on possible enemy forces and capabilities (ie roughly the same as the previous section except that it contains only platoons available in that time period to the enemy countries in question). It uses full FOW so reading the 'briefing' for the side you are playing will not give away any secrets! It is in the simplest *.doc format and should be readable by any word/word pad version (or rename it as *.txt but lose the page breaks).
(Note: These files are free standing so they can be unzipped anywhere. I'd suggest making a sub directory under WF called "Briefings".)
