Cross-Channel Clubs

The last few years have seen a number of players from Ferrybank go over to English Clubs for coaching and training.

John O'Shea of Manchester United is perhaps our most famous player. John went on numerous trials with clubs including QPR, Glasgow Celtic, before finally deciding to join Manchester United. John is enjoying a very successful season he is now a regular member of the first team and he has shown how versatile he is playing in numerous positions. A lot of other talent from our club have also been to cross-channel clubs for coaching and training.

Sean Phelan has been to Grimsby Town and Crystal Palace. Sean is now a member of the Waterford United Under 21's.

Pierce Power has been to Liverpool, Crystal Palace, and Grimsby Town.

Conor Fell and Anthony Roche have been to Leeds United.

Gerard Condon has been to Grimsby Town. This season another three players from Ferrybank AFC have also been cross-channel.

Christopher Hoban has been to Aberdeen, Manchester City, Charlton Athletic, Blackburn Rovers, Stoke City, and Southampton.

Gary Dunphy has been to Blackburn Rovers.

Mark Morahan has been to Stoke City.
