Clover Pitches RULES Saturday  28th June 2008
 
Tournament will be SEVEN-a-side, played on small pitches with small goals
Only players properly registered may participate
Teams will consist of no more than TEN players, any SEVEN of whom may be on the pitch at any one time
All players will have been born on or after   01 January 1998
Any player dismissed by the referee will NOT take any further part in the tournament
In group games, THREE points will be awarded for a win and ONE point for a draw
Group winners will be determined by the highest number of points, if two or more teams finish on an equal number of points, goal difference, goals scored, results and penalty shoot-out (in that order) will be used to separate the teams
Runners-up will be determined in a similar manner
Group games will be TEN minutes per side
Quarter-finals will be TEN minutes per side  -  if full-time scores are level, penalties will decide
Semi-finals will be TEN minutes per side  -  if full-time scores are level, penalties will decide
Final will be TEN minutes per side  -  if full-time scores are level, FIVE minutes extra time will be played and if still level, a penalty shoot-out will decide the winners
A penalty shoot-out will consist of THREE penalties per team followed by 'sudden death', if necessary
Offside will not be played
In order to complete the tournament, a tight schedule will have to be observed and teams will forfeit points if they are not ready to play at their designated time
Any disputes will be decided by the committee on the day and their decision will be final
