Hedge

There has been constant frost/snow/rain for quite some time, so walks and new photos have been difficult. Fortunately, things are now looking up, and there have been quite a few interesting developments. The picture to the left shows part of the hedge. I'll update new versions of this picture as the months move along.

February 13th

These little (about 1/2" across) Sarcoscyphae were just visible at the base of a tree They're sometimes known as Fairy Baths:-

Daisies and Dandelions are putting on a brave face:-

This groundsel caught me by surprise..I hadn't noticed it this year at all. The plant is about 1' high.
