At the moment, there is little on-going growth. Grass and ferns are the only visible new life. The Navelwort is also ever present, sending up its spikes of pale green flowers in July.

Quite a lot happened in the last 4 days. The Lesser Celandines are almost out - picture tomorrow, I'd say. More primrose pictures, now (aren't macro lenses great?):-Primrose

There was a buzzard circling overhead hunting, today. No picture, though..:(

The berries of this Tutsan are still fresh looking. They've been on the plant since October. I guess the birds don't like to eat them.Tutsan Berries

 

 

18th January

LichenIf this lichen (the pale bit on the rock) grows at 1mm per year (as I've read), then it's around 150 years old. (And so is the wall!)

 

 

 

This little mushroom was well hidden, I only found it when looking for something else:mushroom
