A trip to Drumboe to survey lichens and fungi. Some identifications liable to amendment after further analysis.

Dull with heavy rain.

Both images are of Pertusaria amara. The right-hand image showed a pinkish patch that proved to contain tiny orange eggs or egg-clusters (one larger specimen seen towards the bottom centre). Honey-coloured mites were also found under magnification.
