to amendment after further analysis.
Dull with heavy rain. |

Two fungi on Betula. Anisogramma virgultorum (left, said to be rare) and Arthopyrenia punctiformis on the right.

A tiny specimen of Fuscidea lightfootii growing on Betula. |

This tiny fungus was growing on a fallen Ash log. A Hemimycena, about 5mm. across the cap. |

A crust that grows on the underside of Elder branches: Hyphodontia sambuci.

A lovely specimen of Mycena meliigena growing on moss. Cap about 10 mm. across. |

A Pyrenomycete on Honeysuckle. Kabatia periclymeni.

This appeared to be a fungal growth on Beech, but it turns out to be Cryptococcus fagisuga - a scale insect. |

And lastly, a moss growing on a large boulder - Racomitrium aciculare. |
