28th March

Original Hedgerow, leg 1.

Bright but cool.

After the cold snap in mid-March things slowed down, but suddenly spring has sprung: a few Primroses have flowered.

An interesting juxtaposition of moss, Ochrolechia parella lichen and Navelwort leaves.

Lesser Celandine flowers are tricky to photograph since they reflect so much light. A little exposure correction fixes that.

The beautiful spring song of this cock Chaffinch caught my attention.

Ground Elder is fine as long is it's not in my back yard.
