Drumboe Wood.

1 x Peacock.

Sunny and hot.

The first Bluebells of the year.

Cuckoo Flower, or Lady's Smock - Cardamine pratensis - is the sole local foodplant for the Orange Tip butterfly, so they should be appearing soon.

Not much of a picture, but it's the first Peacock I've seen in Drumboe.

Wild Cherry - Prunus avium - is always a welcome sight. The delicate flowers don't last long.

This Eristalis pertinax hoverfly was cleaning all over its back and eyes.

And lastly a shot showing the total ground cover of Opposite-leaved Golden Saxifrage. This patch is about 3m across.
