Original Hedgerow, leg 2.

Overcast with attempts at showers.

Two Soldier Beetles. The left-hand image is of the same species as the shadow on June 7. A slight possibility of Podabrus alpinus. On the right hand side is Cantharis pallida.

Lesser Stitchwort - Stellaria graminea - is a very slender species that uses adjacent plants for support.

Meadowsweet must be very high in nutrients or some other attractant. It is host to a number of fungi, leaf-miners and galls, even before the flowers open.

This micromoth flutters around looking like a golden snowflake. That yellow colour really is a golden sheen. Wonderful. Eupoecilia angustana.
