High heath, near sluggish stream.

Two shots of a strangely-coloured Damselfly. Maybe an Emerald Damsel, where the colours are not yet fully developed. The close-up on the right show the very 'spiked' legs used to capture prey in mid-flight.

Most of the Frog-hoppers or Leaf-hoppers that I see are brown or green. This one is very dark with a lighter 'head'. |
