Original Hedgerow.
Dull all day with occasional light showers. |
The Tutsan berries have gone completely black, now. The leaves have started to turn red, too. The orange rust on the leaves is Melampsora hypericorum.
|
The fruits of the Downy Rose are mature, now. You can see the camera's reflection in the skin. |
This greenish bracket fungus reminded me of a hat sticking out of the old Sycamore stump. |
A new discovery for me - a Snail-eating Fly, perhaps Tetanocera elata. The female lays her eggs near snails, or just on the ground. The larvae then find and eat the snail.
