22nd October |
A few local fungi, taken yesterday in Spruce plantation with deciduous borders.
Bright but cold. |
I don't have a name for this little (1cm.) lilac mushroom, but I'm not letting that stop me from showing a nice composition. Maybe a Mycena. |
This Clavulina cristata was very numerous under the Spruce plantation.
|
This little Crepidotus was growing on dead Willow twigs. Maybe
Crepidotus variabilis.
|
The Calocera viscosa has just appeared under Spruce. I'll keep my eye on this one. It might become quite spectacular. |
This mushroom defied all attempts to identify it last year. It has white
spores, no volval sac, and is about 3 cm. across. The cap can vary from
cream to orange/brown. Maybe a Tricholoma.
|
This Collybia butryacea - the Butter Cap - is very common under Beeches this year.
