Two more flowering plants making another push. Red Clover and Ragwort. The clover picture shows the pale chevron markings on the leaves.

And one plant species that is definitely not making another push. The Marsh Thistle is quite simply breaking up. |
There was a recent discussion about whether the Rush Moth larva feeds on rushes other than Common or Soft. This picture of it on the Juncus shows that it does. |

The Cross-Leaved Heath can be quite a difficult species to photograph, but the light levels today suited it well. Individual flowers about 8mm. long. |
And to finish, a very attractive mushroom with regular pale markings around the rim. Larger specimen about 4 cm. across.
