Dull and wet.

 

These are the seed pods of the Square-stalked St. John's Wort. A nice bright show for this time of year.

There are rumours of deer in the surrounding hills. These hoofprints could be candidates, but I think maybe they're goat, which wander freely around us. Larger print about 5 cm wide, and the smaller about 4cm.

 

More tiny (1 cm. max.) bracket fungi on Spruce logs. Cream gills, but no real way to photograph them.
