Well done to Scoil
Mhuire's Girls Mini 7's Football Team in winning
the Allianz I.N.T.O. Mini-Sevens in Wexford Park,
beating Piercestown on Tues. May 4th, with a
convincing score of 8:6 to 2:3.
This is a ground breaking historical victory as
they are the first girls' team to bring the
Allianz Cup back to Horeswood. These girls are
also members of the victorious Rackard League team
2009/10. (see below).

Well done to our Rackard League
Girls team in winning the County Final, Roinn
B, on Thursday Oct. 22, 2009, in Taghmon against
the Mercy, Wexford. Final score was Horeswood 1:11 and
Mercy 2:3 The winning team is pictured with
coaches Mrs.Kavanagh and Ms.Walshe.

League |
Both boys and girls take
part in many Football Competitions especially the
Rackard League and the I.N.T.O. Mini-Sevens.We won the
first district title in 1958.The Rackard League is in
honour of the great Wexford hurler,Nicky Rackard
(1922-1976).
