Squaring the Circle
Have you ever wondered what some lunar craters or basins might look
like when 'unfurled', 'uncircled'? Well, here's a simple method in
doing so, see image below. All one has to do is use the simple
conversion button in Photoshop (Filter/Distort/Polar Coordinates) on
an aerial view of the feature.
