Green Schools Achievements
The Green Schools Committee aim to
1. Reduce litter
2. Reduce waste through recycling
3. Improve the school appearance

*The school was successful with the project 'The Cost of Careless Waste' and were awarded a financial prize.

*Transition Year students have implemented a composting project.

*Transition Year students designed and carried out surveys on the following:
Attitudes towards waste and litter
Litter Bin sites
Waste Management

*The Green Schools committee have organised resources for an Environment section in the new school library.

*Sixth Year students co-ordinated recycling waste cardboard boxes.

*Year groups are responsible for keeping their corridor are litter free.

*The Green Schools most recent project was 'Christmas and the Environment'
