Neutral Bow

Natural stance,drop leg back,feet at 45 degrees,front toe parallel to rear heel,front arm out at 90 degrees in front of face ,rear armin close covering midsection

Centre line partially open all four weapons available A 50 -50 weight on both legs using forward weapon
Forward bow
From a neutral bow,turn rear foot to face front,rear foot flat,rear leg straight ,front leg stays in position
Center line partially open all weapons available a 60-40 weight ratio torque Using rear weapon

45 degree

Reverse bow
Forward bow turn head to look behind maintain stance
Transitory stance
90 degree cat
Start with the heel of one foot up against the instep of your other foot,(your feet are at a 90 degree angle to each other) Slide the( heel) foot forward so the heel is were the toes were Move up onto the ball of that foot.
Center line partially open has a 90-10 weight ratio From fighting horse slide foot back cover with hands,creates distance for kick.
45 degree cat
Start with your heels together,toes apart at a 45 degree angle.Move and follow the same sequence as for the 90 degree stance
Same as 90 cat stance
Front twist
From a neutral bow ,move your rear leg forward in front of your front legand towards the corner so that the inside of your foot is facing the corner.Up on the ball of your other foot,keep your knees bent and drop your weight.
Sets up torque 1/2 of a cover out stance,also named a transitiory stance as you can pivot to a neutral bow
Rear twist
From a neutral bow,move your rear leg forward behind of your front leg and towards the corner so that the inside of your foot is facing the corner.up on the ball of your other foot.keep knees bent.

STANCES
Proper execution of stances is a very important part of your training and should be practised diligently and with proper emphasise on the weight distrubation.
Netural bow would be the master key stance in the Kenpo system
