SELF CATERING

Apartment/Flat:

For your comfort we provide a completely self contained two bed roomed on suite apartment on the east wing of our residence.

Ground Floor: Twin bedded room, shower/toilet, kitchen, dinning area, and lounge. Fully heated with all mod cons.

1st Floor: Double bedded room (bed can be split to make singles), shower/toilet, and sitting area.

Kitchen: Electric cooker/grill and oven. Microwave. Fridge. Dish washer. All cutlery and utensils supplied.

Electricity is on a two euro coin meter. Hot water is supplied from a gas boiler and solar panel and is free.
Central heating is available if required and is charged as a supplement.

Television is via satellite.

Wifi is available throughout and is free.

The extensive garden covers 2.5 acres (1 hectare). Guests are invited to walk and enjoy this at their pleasure. The lawns are cut low and if you are a golfer you can practice your short game (but not towards the house!)

There is a shop within 1 mile where all perishables such as milk, butter, bread and other groceries can be purchased.
For those who wish to dine out, the area offers many restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets.
The Lodge is just a ten minute walk from the river. Cars can also be driven to most of the fishing pools when ground conditions permit.

 

We only accept weekly bookings for our self catering units.

Bed&Breakfast: We can also arrange B&B accommodation for those who don't wish to book a week or who prefer this to self catering in The Kilcolman Rectory which is next door to us and within walking distance. It is owned and managed by Mrs Sarah Gornell.

Also we can recommend The Glen Country House which is owned by very good and old friends of ours.
