Please note that The Bandon has had certain restrictions lifted for 2013. Also the cost of the salmon rod licence remains the same as 2012. The later can be purchased either on line or here at Kilcoleman on arrival. More details of salmon regulations can be found on the Department of Fishereis web site.

Like most regions of The British Isles we have experienced one of the wettest winters on record. In fact it feels as if it really hasn't stopped raining since this time last year! We have never seen the river so high for so long and the land so wet. Lets hope some of the annual rainfall is preserved for when we really want it.
