The School & University Internet Awards 2001

In 2001 it was decided to enter alessonindriving into the School & University Internet Awards (www.suia.org). The awards were run by Novara Technology and sponsored by NTL. A large line-up of technology executives made up the judging commitee, such as Denis O'Brien (Esat).




The awards took place in the O'Reilly Hall in UCD and was attended by RTE and various radio stations.

Alessonindriving won first prize in the third level (or university) category and reveived a cheque for €2500. It was a push in the right direction!
