The community life of Lough Gur and the surrounding area is varied and lively; there is always something going on.

It could be a seasonal event. The Halloween celebrations that take place in the Interpretative Centre when a seanachai regales his audience with folk tales.Or it could be the Summer Solstice celebration at the Grange Stone Circle.

It could be a theatrical production at the HoneyFitz which occur three or four times a year. It could be a guided walk around the Lough-side.Or a music session at one of the local pubs.

And where sport is involved....well, every weekend there is GAA, soccer, golf as well as point-to-points and foxhunting.
