Grange Stone Circle pre-dates the Pyramids of Egypt and still poses more questions than answers.

What was the exact purpose of the circle?
Was it of religious significance?
How were the stones placed there?
How did our ancestors manage such a feat?

It seems likely that there was a religious significance, as the sun rises on midsummer morning, the first rays of light shine directly through the narrow entrance passageway into the centre of the circle.Every year the sun rise is observed often with a short mass.
