Aims of this website:

This website presents topics within the Particle Physics subject field, in an appealing manner. It has the following aims:

To enable the student to work at their own pace.
To provide interactive self-assessment, in the form of a crossword and quiz
To provide graphically representation of the concepts within particle physics, to aid in the understanding of the subject.

Objectives of this website:

The objectives of the site are as follows:

To stimulate interest in the particle physics subject field.
To make the subject more interesting, by using humourous graphics and interactive assessment.
To provide the user with the necessary information required to obtain a basic knowledge of what the subject of particle physics is, and what it encompasses.

Target audience:

This website is aimed at Leaving Certificate higher level Physics students. These students would be aged between 16 and 18 years of age.
