| All that exist is made up of particles. For a long time not much was known about these particles, but with the advent of modern technology scientists have been able to do much experimental research to better understand the particles that exist and how they behave.. |
Particle physics is a very new branch of physics. Only really beginning in the 1930's with the work done by Pauli, Cockroft and Walton. |

This site covers the main concepts within the study of particle physics and endeavours to give a greater understanding of the different types of fundamental particles which exist. |
