Backhand Drive
On a right handed player the ball is taken from the left hip. The bat arm elbow being kept below the ball, this enbles the right fore arm to lift and move forward generating the power. The wrist can move in a horizontal and verticle arc creating a topspin roll. Keep head level and feet square to the line of the ball with the free arm pointing in the direction the ball will travel. This enables the shot to be played from a "square" stance.
