CARING FOR OUR ENVIRONMENT

Spring Clean 2003

In April of this year we were involved, with the Tidy Towns in a clean up of our town and school.  We split up into eight groups.  Our leaders were teachers, parents, secretary and caretaker. We were given three separate bags.   One for bottles one for cans and one for all other types of rubbish.   We hit various grot spots.

When we came back we put the cans and the bottles in the recycling bins. The County Council came and collected the rubbish bags. People we met said it was good to see the young people getting involved in keeping our town litter free.

Text Box: We met some friends along the way.We enjoyed being out even though we were tired after all the walking.
