A theatrical experience. Irish language plays are
presented by Cumainn Drámaí Gaeilge from all corners
of the island. (Organised by An Comhlachas Náisiúnta
Drámaíochta.) The
Boyne Dance
June-August
This 'Summer Show', a special compilation for visitors
to the area, is a display of local music, song and
drama. Bus tours, as well as individual tourists are
welcome, and can be catered for in the adjoining
restaurant. Bookings must be made in advance.

As part of this 'Meath Festival (organised by Conradh
na Gaeilge),a sean-nós singing competition is held in
Ráth Cairn attracting competitors of all ages
competing for Corn Chóil Neaine Pháidín or Corn
Mhaggie Tim. The senior competition draws contestants
from all over the country. |

the life of Darach Ó Catháin, a partner-in-song and
close friend of Seán Ó Riada. Guest sean-nós
singers visit Ráth Cairn for this festival and
participate in seisiúin where many of Darach's songs
can be heard. |

This is a special competition to find the 'All-Round
Entertainer'. Those taking part must perform three of
the following: sing a song in Irish, recite a story or
poem in Irish, dance, play an instrument, and/or
present any other act the judges may allow on the
night.

The year goes out with a bang... two, three! And what
better way than watching the energy flow as Sean-Nós
dancers compete for the coveted Corn Stiofáin Seoighe.

Music Sessions

As the title suggests, these 'seisiúin' can be found
in 'An Bradán Feasa' any night of the week. Saturday
nights are especially popular, with sean-nós singing
and dancing interspersed with the music.
