In
the interest's of maintaining our high standards we stock
the top of the range Gallagher Guitar, Known as the Doc
Watson Model.
This
Model is the finest in mahogany guitar. The spruce used
for the top is carefully chosen. The top barbecuing is scalloped
and shaped by hand produce powerful, clear tone. The fingerboard
and bridge are of ebony, for durability and beauty. String
vibrations are transmitted to the top by a genuine bone
saddle. The strings slide smoothly over the bone nut and
are secured by friction free, sealed and permanently lubricated
tuning machines. The out edge of the top and the soundhole
rosette are herringbone. The two piece mahogany back is
joined by a "zig - zag" backstrip. The 1- 3/4"
width of The fingerboard at The nut, and The wide low fast
action frets make this particularly easy to note.(a 1 -11/16"
neck is optional).
